Liked: From the second I arrived I felt looked after. The staff are amazing. The place is beautiful and I felt my dog was a very welcome guest too
Disliked: Only thing I would suggest is all the pillows were very soft - it would be nice to have a couple of firm ones

Liked: Everything!!! The rooms, the food, artwork, the gardens, the service, the peacock, the attention to detail, and certainly everyone there. This is a must do when we return to Scotland.
Disliked: Leaving was the only downside. Wish we had booked longer.

Beautiful relaxing stay

Liked: The staff at Prestonfield are 10/10. They knew us despite us only staying a few nights and were incredibly kind and helpful. The Rhubard restaurant exceeded my expectations. The ingredients are so fresh that I doubt that I can get the same taste for some dishes anywhere else. The location is a short 10 minute drive from the center of the city and completely quiet at night except for when they have events. The decor is really lovely and I loved the house cat and 3 cows!
Disliked: The bed was noted to me as “antique.” I could feel the springs when I passed my hand over the bed and it overall it was very hard bed. If you like hard beds you’ll love it, but I’m more of a soft bed person.The shower water temperature oscillated quite a bit which was very difficult during shower times.

Liked: Our stay here was nothing short of exceptional. We loved. Prestonfield is a luxury countryside escape in the middle of the city. We will be back!

Liked: The accommodation at Prestonfield House and the quality of service is out of this world.From the rooms, decor, setting and grounds to the quality of the service, food and staff, I would say a rating of 10/10 is too low.My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it will go down as a special moment in our memories.And we are definitely planning to return.
