Cheap cheerful & comfortable

Liked: Clean & tidy room very comfortable bed could have done with a few extra pillows , very hot showers, in a central location easy to get to attractions etc unfortunately wouldn't come again due to the breakfast being served in plastic cartons
Disliked: The room were a bit dated holes & cracks in the ceiling, door stiff in the bathroom kept catching on the floor , no shower / bath mats , bathroom cabinet has definitely seen better days , mouldy shower curtain , could have really done with some bedside lamps , really wasn't a fan of having breakfast in the room very awkward trying to eat & would have loved to have sat down & had juice , coffee etc

Terrible!!!!

Disliked: Room was pokey. Toilet seat broken,wash basin not even in the bathroom,sliding bathroom door didn't even close fully. Rowdy people staying,swearing,running up&downstairs keeping us awake all night. Price is so extortionate for what it was like&wasn't even offered an apology or some payment back when complained!

Disliked: It didn't meet expectations to the photo you advertised it wasn't very clean I won't be booking through you again if you advertise places like that you'll be loosing a lot of custom Very unsatisfied customer

Poor

Disliked: Rooms very small and quite shabbywallpaper, curtains, drawers etc. Bedding seemed to be clean but from the whole demeanour of the place it just didnt feel clean. Had to leave a deposit and they checked the rooms before they gave it back! Had a lot of trouble getting in touch with them the previous week as I had received confirmation stating room only when I had booked as bed and breakfast for a party of 5 couples. We ended up with breakfast in a polystyrene box that they said was going to be delivered to our rooms but we refused to eat in our rooms so we sat in the room that would have been meant for breakfast just not set up!!! In all fairness apparently they are room only accommodation now and they did make the effort (after a lot of emails and a phone call to booking.com) to source us some breakfast but they need to make sure that this is advertised correctly. We did end up going and getting some more breakfast with a brew afterwards. Wont be staying there again anytime

Basic, good location, ideal as a place to just get your head down

Liked: Good location, room had basic requirements, car park nearby. Was tidy and clean. Decent shower. Fridge in the room.
Disliked: Staff were not very accommodating, nobody immediately there to greet you - ring the phone number and it goes straight to voicemail, no towels in room so had to go back to the ground floor and ring the bell. The bar is not open despite it being advertised. They checked the room before the deposit was returned to us which I felt was quite rude and belittling

We escaped and went home

Liked: we arrived, paid bill, were obliged to leave cash deposit for tv remote controls, put bags in rooms, had to ask for towels, left to try and find any sort of phone signal and had to negotiate litter strewn streets to the noise of the front. Regrouped and decided hotel was totally unaccceptable so returned, reclaimed deposit and checked out without paying. Was chosen on Booking.com rating and proximity to venue. Felt slightly sorry for the lad assigned to manage reception.
Disliked: Everything. Not a single redeeming feature. Please remove it from your listing. Felt like I had really let my staff down bringing them.

Disliked: I was told by a non English speaking man I didnt have a booking, even though I showed him my confirmation number the money was taken in advance even though I was to be paid at the property. I was trying to find other accommodation AVOID AT ALL COST
