Disliked: Avoid this place at all costs if you're a solo female traveler or traveling with family.I booked this hotel for my wife, who was traveling alone, and she felt extremely unsafe the moment she arrived. The hotel was full of groups of men (most likely construction workers), many walking around shirtless. There was no visible staff, no reception presence, and the atmosphere was intimidating and uncontrolled.My wife was so scared that she left immediately without checking in. When she managed to speak briefly with a woman at reception and asked her, “Would you sleep here alone in this situation?”, the receptionist answered: “Absolutely not.”This alone says everything about the conditions of the place.It is unacceptable that Booking.com does not warn users that this hotel may be unsuitable for women traveling alone. This is not a hotel, it feels more like a workers' dormitory.We had to book another hotel urgently (at the Parc Hôtel in Carvin) and ended up losing the money we paid for this reservation.As a long-time Genius customer, I have always trusted Booking.com — but this experience was deeply disappointing and completely unprofessional.Unsafe, unwelcoming, and a total waste of money. Stay far away.
