Budget Hotel - Does what...

Liked: This is a budget hotel and on this basis it fulfils its mission. For us, location was good.
Disliked: We pre booked and pre paid. Bearing this in mind, check in was a nightmare and took at least 20 minutes in addition to a 20 minute wait while the one person in front of us was served.

Pleasant

Liked: The proximity to a excellent buffet restaurant.
Disliked: Basic we expected but the twin beds were extremely narrow and low.Breakfast, no bread apart from thin sliced .

Good

Liked: Clean and practical, with AC and included free parking. Basic hotel for some nights. Close to the highway to visit the D Day memorials.I heard they had good breakfast for 6 EUR
Disliked: The mattress was really stiff and hard, I slept badly. Staff at the reception weren't very friendly. Internet connection was poor

Not fancy but acceptable standard

Liked: Quiet and bed was comfortable, plenty of secure parking
Disliked: No english or german television channels

Definitely not recommended

Liked: A lot of parking spaces
Disliked: The bathroom was constantly giving out a bad smell, despite the ventilation that was quite loud. On the second day the hotel manager opened our door while we were in bed, despite having the do not disturb sign on the door, he was "just checking" as he said. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Disliked: No kettle in room

A Great stay just 20...

Liked: This hotel is very convenient for coming and going on the ferry. On this occasion we arrived on the afternoon ferry from Portsmouth. The rooms are basic, but very clean and comfortable. Two towels per person (unusual for a 2*). Lovely hot shower.Staff are friendly and parking is plentiful and secure.Will stay again on our return trip to the UK.
Disliked: Room was a little too warm on this occasion.
