Powell River Town Centre Hotel

I like the place, but...

Liked: Location
Disliked: The complimentary breakfast is ridiculous. The front staff are referred to as the “room Nazis”.

Disliked: Continental breakfast could have been better.

Liked: Everything was good, the hallway smelled and that would be my only feedback.
Disliked: Front desk staff was excellent and helpful, kind and friendly. Same with the Pub.

Convenient, comfortable good value.

Liked: Location, value, rooms.
Disliked: Booking rooms for our crews and because my name was on one of the rooms you weren’t going to give them the room. Good thing I was in cell service to ok it.I’ll make sure the proper names are on each room next time.

Liked: The staff we met were helpful and kind (except 1) the location was great and the rooms were very clean.
Disliked: The front desk person at check-in wasn't very helpful when checking in. Seemed to lack the typical customer service skills. A different employee had to get her attention to come to the front desk and she didn't direct us in any way of where the rooms were located. We figured it out and it didn't tarnish our stay but that was the only negative part of our experience at this hotel.
