Great hotel and area!

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room had recently been updated and was clean. Breakfast was great! We like staying by the water and this hotel checked everything we were looking for.

Liked: Location, cleanliness, pool. We had a room opening on to the terrace which was quiet and a nice place to sit
Disliked: Front desk staff. We had contacted the hotel beforehand as we were arriving in the morning before check-in at 3pm. . We were expecting for a hotel at this price point there would be somewhere to wait and get a drink etc but instead got thrown out despite explaining we had been travelling since the day before and were very hot and tired. Apparently the bar was shut, we had missed breakfast and i dont know why we couldn't sit in the lounge. Tbe woman on tbe front desk promised to phone us if the room was ready early although we later found out it was ready hours early but we weren't informed. We complained and got a bowl of fruit. Bathroom. This is a glass box we wouldn't have booked it had we known. A toilet behind a curtain is not luxury. Also the hotel rooms are not soundproofed which wasn't an issue but the description states that they are.

Disliked: Little slow on serving drinks and meals, but this is Europe.
