Disliked: It's a tired commercial traveller's hotel in need of a deep clean update and refresh. Must be being run on a shoestring at the moment because it appeared very understaffed. trying to find a receptionist was like seeking the holy grail!

Nice hotel, good value

Liked: It's a charming hotel with a lovely lounge/restaurant/lobby which was perfect for spending the day talking with a friend and business connection. The toiletries were nice and if I recall correctly, sustainable.
Disliked: Location is hard via public transport. You need a car or be willing to uber or taxi from a station. The decor in the room is pretty but a bit in need of a tidy up. But the price reflects this I think.

Frustrating

Liked: It's being refurbished so mostly looking gorgeous furnishings very trendy and lush looking plus outside thatch looks lovely! Towels good quality....
Disliked: Upgraded rooms were very dusty. Toilet and bath very old n grotty.....didn't use. Veranda rusty. Breakfast was a disaster......no table set up! No eggs, hash browns, no mushrooms! Had to wait so brekky was going cold. Eventually eggs were brought to the table. went back up for hash browns. Mushrooms arrived when we'd finished! Decided to just have a piece of toast to finish off with a cup of tea but only 2 crusts left! My hubby gave me his and had the crust.....said I wasn't happy paying for this so we're charged for 4 small breakfasts so yep not great!! Would luv to go back when refurbishment is completed. Maybe a complimentary breakfast would entice us back .....or complimentary voucher off the two rooms. But until then no thankyou

Disliked: Room was basic,dusty, dirty rim inside toilet,overall looked like a small cheap room

Disliked: The rooms and especially the bathrooms need serious updating as do the windows and frames in the room. All a little run down.
