Disliked: serious mold issue in the ENTIRE OLD SECTION!! you could smell it as soon as you got off the elevator. We just stayed 1 night so we didn't make an issue of it but did send letters to EVERYBODY we could think of to let them know.

Liked: Cheap. Great views, even from our tiny room on the 2nd floor, we could overlook the lake. Very clean. Looks great for gatherings and families.
Disliked: No complaints other than the 1970's style vibe.

The park was nice, but...

Liked: The park and Nature Center was great, and the staff at the Nature Center was helpful,
Disliked: They advertise a great restaurant but it is anything but great. This was my wife's birthday and we had been looking forward to this trip for a long time. We went to dinner at 6:00 pm and instead of a good meal they only have a buffet now, with 5 warming trays ALL COLD. The chicken was room temp. The alfredo sauce had a film slime over it, the lasagna had spots of white grease, and no one knew or cared how long it had been setting out. I wonder if the Health Dept. knows the conditions of the food. The dinning room only had 10 guest but the server was missing, when she did finally come around she was rude and when I said something about the the food being to cold only shrugged her shoulders. The not so meal still cost me over $40.00 and when I said something to the lady at the front desk I was told that they would credit my card from the room bill. That didn't happen, we asked for two washcloths another time at the front desk and the lady never even made eye contact or spoke but took her time in getting washcloths out of the cabinet and throwing them on the counter, my wife said thank you but still nothing from the lady working the service desk. We also found hard soap stuck to the shelf in the shower, that means it doesn't get cleaned much. We were pulling our luggage down the hall and had to wait for 2 house keepers to finish talking then we was able to squeeze by them.
