Liked: The location was excellent, the room was clean and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The food was good both at dinner and breakfastWe really liked the communal fridge and were glad of the chilled water - we visited in during hot weather
Disliked: It was noisy - but we knew before we went that it was a pub and we’d be there over a Friday night so not really an issue

Liked: A proper Cornish pub which combined traditional decor with lots of modern touches, and excellent food. Very welcoming and the best place I stayed whilst walking 7 days of the SW Coastpath

Liked: The space was welcoming, had lovely decor and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of small things made all the difference: real milk and cooled water in a fridge, a lovely selection of hot drinks in the room with quality biscuits, the offer of other items if needed, eg beach towels/slippers. The food was excellent, both evening meal and breakfast. So happy to find fresh fruit and chia/linseeds at breakfast.
