Liked: Location - Excellent. I loved being in the middle of the hustle and bustle to people watch and listen to music. If you choose, shopping is near by. My room location was excellent.
Disliked: Overall, I have no complaints.

Liked: Central location, helpful staff, well appointed room, fine restaurant.
Disliked: Price slightly above value, street noise.

Liked: Fantastic location. Overlooking the square with street performers below, we could open up the doors of the french balcony and sit with a glass of wine. Wooden shutters on the inside could be closed when sleeping to keep out the sound and daylight.
Disliked: Air conditioning wasn't very strong but the room was very comfortable.

Excellent Location in Porto

Liked: Excellent location in the tourist area on the south side of the river. Our room overlooked a pleasant square that had several restaurants and was popular with tourists. Very helpful staff. Room was small but comfortable. We did not take breakfast at the hotel but chose instead to have breakfast out in the city.

Perfect central Porto lodging

Liked: Perfect central location half way is the hill from the Douro. It was at the lower end of flower street that was filled with shops and eateries. Regular live music played daily right outside the hotel until 10 PM. The room was cozy but comfortable. We did take a train to Braga. The Sao Bento train station is an easy 10 minute walk away.
Disliked: Construction for the new pink line metro was across the street. It was a bit of an eyesore. The lobby could use 4 more chairs. It would require shrinking the print museum/shop right there in the lobby.
