Located on the shores of Loch Fyne on the west coast in Argyll Portavadie offers a range of contemporary accommodations dining shopping outdoor activities and spa and leisure facilities. Portavadie features the Marina Restaurant and Bar which the culinary team focus on local and seasonal produce and Loch Fyne's famous seafood is on the menu with sumptuous views over the Marina. A full Scottish breakfast is served daily. The surrounding area is wild and remote with beautiful hills glens rugged coast and white beaches as well as lochs and ancient forests. Exceptional

Liked: Location was perfect. Unbelievable scenery. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Bed could have been comfier along with the size of room for the price.

Nice and relaxing

Liked: The breakfast was superb! It had every option possible. Was great quality food. We enjoyed it very much. I have a dairy allergy and there was plenty options for me as well as all the alternative milks available. Went a druve to St Ostel beach. Lovely beach. Self catering apartments were well equipped. Comfortable bed. Good range of TV channels. Good WiFi signal. Lovely views. Peaceful resort. Big fans in room which we needed on at night, due to the heat in the apartment.
Disliked: No bars or restaurants nearby of walking distance. No public transport nearby such as a local bus. Limited to eating and drinking at restaurant. Quiet resort. No entertainment. Sauna shower wasn't good. Pressure low and not cold at all. Jacuzzis weren't great. No steam room. Apartment too warm to sleep well. But it is summer!

An excellent place for a...

Liked: Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. Service was very good.
Disliked: Bedroom was a little small but we were only there for 1 night . It was very warm so aor con would have helped.

Very relaxing . The Marina...

Liked: Menu offered a good choice . Service was prompt and attentive.
Disliked: Dogs were allowed in the restaurant.

So relaxing

Liked: I always love to stay at Portavadie and the staff are always super friendly and helpful. I love how they give you fresh milk in the fridge .. a really nice touch

Very good

Liked: Stunning setting and accommodation. Very peaceful and relaxing.
Disliked: Earlier breakfast would be good as an option.

Beautiful location lovely accommodation great...

Liked: Beautiful location, nice facilities, most staff friendly and helpful, nice room, great food.
Disliked: Breakfast manager was rude and unhelpful. Asked for a window seat both days and he refused even though there were several empty and we were last to breakfast. The was no smiles, no apologies or helpfulness.
