Liked: The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the rooms are spotless and so carefully thought out that they have everything you need. Charles and Christine are fabulous hosts who greet you with tea and cake and are so helpful.

Liked: Warm welcome with tea and cake on arrival. Fruit, home made biscuits and chocolates in the clean and extremely well furnished room with a view of the beautifully maintained private back garden. Very good breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: A wonderful B&B, the Four poster bed was so comfortable, the room was very spacious and equipped very thoughtfully - e.g dressing gowns, slippers and a hot water bottle.Our hosts were very accommodating and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was delicious too, especially the homemade preserves! We would definitely recommend the Porch House

Great value - highly recommend

Liked: We had a great stay at Porch House to attend a friend's wedding nearby. It's ideally located on the high street (don't worry, it's a quiet town) with secure off street parking to the rear of the property. There's loads of history to the place. Fascinating. Other reviewers have praised the breakfast - we would agree - but add that we are veggie and vegan, we gave a couple of days' notice, but the hosts were brilliant - oat milk for the tea and coffee in the bedroom, dates to complement the bag of chocolates and fruit bowl in the room, and more breakfast than we could eat in the morning - with plenty of choice over hot and cold breakfast. Will definitely stay again and would recommend.
Disliked: I'm being ultra picky. But the table in the room with the kettle, tea & coffee is tiny. Barely enough room to brew up. Something bigger would be great.
