Polzeath Beach House

Great location, with clean room...

Liked: Amazing view over the beach, room was very clean and tidy, and the food was great. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.
Disliked: No parking with the hotel, but there is on street parking immediately outside (subject to availability).

Ok rooms, poor service at...

Liked: Good location at the top of the hill, it worked fine as a quick stay.
Disliked: I booked a massage at the spa, but it was so full the only time I could book was after we checked out, about 5pm. The spa staff treated me as though I wasn't staying at the hotel and made me use the public toilets by the reception (or maybe the spa doesn't actually have toilets?) I had spent the whole day in the pool area which had great shower/toilet/locker facilities, but then somehow when I went for my overpriced massage I had to use the disabled loo's at reception?? I was very confused... I would definitely not book a massage there again based on the lack of feeling pampered and a very average massage- it was a busy weekend and they all seemed overworked.

I highly recommend the hotel

Liked: The food was wonderful. We ate breakfast, lunch and supper over the course of our stay at the hotel.
Disliked: The seating area could have been more comforatble and cozy. It rained during our stay and there was no where nice to sit and read.

Liked: Location and staff absolutely superb!
Disliked: Room was so hot and a little small for the price..

Relaxing stay in a great...

Liked: Perfect location, well decorated. Staff lovely and food great. Bed very comfortable.
Disliked: Room slightly on the small side and quite hot. (Although a fan is provided.) Beautifully decorated though and had everything you would need.
