Liked: everything. this place has a soul as we‘d say in german. the hosts were extremely friendly and attentive. feels like a home away from home.beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, everything you need. Gill and Martin are warm and open and clearly know what they are doing they are always available but very discreet so you can still enjoy privacy. the garden is breathtakingly beautiful and you are very welcome to spend time outside. parking is available and fantastic. after breakfast Gill will let you know what you can do in the area and none of her tips disappointed. we had such a lovely time and will most certainly be back!!!

Ideal country hotel

Liked: We liked everything about Polrean. Gill and Martin were perfect hosts and ensured our stay was pleasant and stress free. The breakfasts were excellent with a wide range of choices and taken in a bright and airey conservatory overlooking a well kept garden.Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Car parking was plentiful.The ability to take food back in the evening and use the conservatory facilities and garden was really handy. Being able to order a drink at the bar was a bonus in the evening.
Disliked: We liked everything.

OVERALL GOOD.

Liked: Short drive from Looe center.Small room and bathroom but adequate for a week stay comfortable bed plenty of hot water ģood choice at breakfast served by friendly starve.
Disliked: How room overlooked the road and carpark and not the garden.

Short 3 day break in...

Liked: Lovely hotel situated in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the town.The hotel is situated just 2 miles from Looe and can be reached by bus which stops right outside of the hotel or train which is a 3 minute walk away. The owners Gill and Martin are wonderful professional people who catered for our every need. Breakfast at the hotel was fabulous and there is a wide variety to choose from. There is a cosy bar where you can chill in the evening and chat with other guests or take in the evening sun in the well presented garden watching the sun go down. Gill is very knowledgeable on all the attraction's and local history , Gill knows the roads around r and can advise the best routes to take when visiting places.
Disliked: Leaving the hotel as we had such a great stayCan not think of anything else that we did not like.

Highly recommend for people who...

Liked: Location with spectacular views and every morning wake up with birds songs, loved it. Best cook breakfast ever we have, always hot and tasty with Martin’s special mushrooms. Very comfy bed, spotless clean room and in the room we have everything what we need.
