Well worth the journey

Liked: Loved the stay at the house very family orientated. Can't wait to go back again.
Disliked: My daughter and I went and stayed in a room she took up all the space on a small double should have had a twin bed instead.

A slow step back into...

Liked: The Polraen Country House is a lovely, grand old stone building, situated in the beautiful and peaceful, valley setting, a couple of miles inland from Looe. The hosts were fantastic guides and ambassadors, and are a credit to Looe, and Cornwall.
Disliked: Nothing we didn't like.

Very good

Liked: Very friendly owners. Good breakfast and sleep. Lovely gardens.
Disliked: Nearby bus and trains infrequent. Time table irrelevant.
