Pod Times Square

Room was clean; hotel floor secure; price reasonable. Close to everywhere we were visiting, all in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness; security.
Disliked: TV remotes.

Exceptional

Liked: Small but very comfortable room. Great views. Bathroom was spacious but inside the room. Not sure I would have enjoyed that had I travelled with a companion but as a single traveller it was no problem. Very comfortable bed. They also organise walking tours for guests which unfortunately I didn't get a chance to join.

Liked: Best value for money. Convenient location for seeing shows. Clean and comfy.
Disliked: It’s very basic and small - not a problem for me but might be for someone else.

Liked: The location and the price.
Disliked: The whole hotel seemed a bit tarnished by use, this was my second time staying in this hotel, the first time was back in 2019 and definitely the otel might need a bit of a renovation, also there is no frigo bar; that should be a must nowadays. The bathroom had a strange smell, but it was clean and so was the room. It was also a lot smaller than the first pod I stayed back in 2019 and more expensive. At check in I asked if I could use another CC to pay for the deposit as that fee takes forever to be removed and thenice lady said that it wouldnt be necesary as she was not going to charge us the deposit, but the the day of check out, it seemed they noticed there was no deposit and they went ahead and charged the CC I specifically asked the lady not to charge; my card being mexican was charged that deposit and that money was blocked for over 30 days. I had to call my bank twice to ask to get this charge removed.

Great price and super convenient.

Liked: The location was very convenient, and the acoustics were excellent, my room overlooked the bus loading ramp of the Port Authority terminal and the entrance to the Lincoln tunnel, but I didn't hear a thing!!
Disliked: The water could have been a bit hotter.

I may try another pod...

Liked: Location was great! Air conditioning was so appreciated during a heat wave! The staff was very nice!
Disliked: I had to clean under the toilet seat as soon as I got there. It was clear it hadn’t been cleaned since the last time someone used it. There were other areas of the room that hadn’t been cleaned, or cleaned well, so I did it before I felt comfortable in the room. I also had a phone that beeped for two nights (low battery) after being reported. It did get fixed the second time I reported it.
