Pod Times Square

Room was clean; hotel floor secure; price reasonable. Close to everywhere we were visiting, all in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness; security.
Disliked: TV remotes.

Disliked: Room size is not for everyone, however for this price in the middle of Manhattan this is a great deal

Convenient Location and Affordable

Liked: Location is on 4nd Avenue and 9th Street. 3 Blocks away from 7th which is the hub of everything Times Square and the Subway. I flew in to LaGuardia Airport, took the Q70 subway to Roosevelt Station, then the N,R, W train to times square, walked for 8 min to The Pod. Very convenient. We had the two room, and there is a bunkbed which is quite comfortable. The room is well maintained and clean.
Disliked: No microwave, small fridge or a water heater to make tea/coffee. We have to get dressed to get coffee. I like to have coffee or tea as I wake up in the room when I travel so this was so inconvenient not to have it BUT for the price and location...It is an inconvenient that I can live with.

I like the location and...

Liked: I did not have breakfast nor any food or drink from PODS. I LIKED TO cleanliness and location. I liked the separate elevators since it seems more secure. I loved that there were NO BED BUGS/ insects/rodents!!!
Disliked: I hate the much too short shower curtain since it creates a water mess on the floor! I dislike the too dim hallways.

Exceptional

Liked: My second time staying here. This is the first place I looked up whenever I visit NYC. Sure the room size is small but it was comfortable and the location was fantastic! Would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Absolutely amazing location! It’s right in the heart of the city! Super helpful stuff and really comfortable rooms. Really good value for money.

Disappointing

Liked: It has a good location and a good view of the city
Disliked: Starting with the bathroom, they need to refurbish it. The shower area has mold and the lighting was out. Behind the bed, the wall had a hole due to the humidity in the bathroom wall. It wasn't very comfortable sleeping with that next to the pillow. The hotel is very good, but they already need to remodel the rooms.
