Exceptional
Liked: Food was excellent, brilliant quality produce. Very Peaceful. Nice bar/lounge with fire. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Could not fault it! Will be back when we can.

Lovely peaceful setting
Liked: Beautiful setting, lovely old country house. Service and food was lovely. Very comfortable room.
Disliked: Not great sound proofing in rooms, could hear people in next door rooms. Shower pressure and temperature was very sporadic (hot and quite powerful to cold and a dribble in seconds) as other guests were also showering at the same time .

Liked: The best thing about this place was the friendly staff - they were exceptional. The manor house was filled with paintings and historical items.
Disliked: Breakfast could have been better, seemed a little empty on the plate. The restaurant portions weren't great for £40 for two courses and £50 for three courses. Essentially £10 for a dessert or starter seemed like a lot, and £30 for a main.

A lovely spot in a...
Liked: Breakfast was great, as was the dinner the previous night. The welcome was warm, and the beds comfortable.
Disliked: The shower didn't drain well - I was worried that it would overflow onto the bathroom floor.
