Beautiful countryside.

Liked: Good breakfast and spacious rooms.
Disliked: The cask ale offer was poor. Two cask products from Suffolk! At least one local ale would have been good ; the nearby Border Hotel offered two .

Liked: Spacious and charming room and bathroom, warm welcome, lovely pub, attentive staff, large and comfortable bed huge mugs in room - always nice.
Disliked: Limited menu options for both breakfast and dinner

A comfortable stay in a...

Liked: A basic but comfortable room, excellent staff and a decent breakfast. Being able to select exactly what you wanted each morning was a nice touch.
Disliked: Whilst it was great to be in a pub with a bar, the food menu could be a little more creative as it offered standard style pub fare. Also the hotel seemed a little expensive when compared with all other places we stayed in.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike staff where so great food 5 star will stay there next year
