Plough Hotel

Very overpriced I think; room was small and smelled of damp as soon as we walked in. The door was not very secure; the bathroom was still a bit dirty and there was black mould in there.

Liked: Breakfast was OK.
Disliked: Very overpriced.

Liked: The location was very convenient, not far from the station and within easy walking distance of the town centre - ideal for those, like us, travelling without a car. The rooms had clearly been recently refurbished and were clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Disliked: The hotel is on a busy road junction, so there is constant traffic noise.

Disliked: the refurb was poor just layers of paint. Very Noisy club opposite . Very tired bathroom with sink in the room. The room was really small and the mattress was hanging over the devan!

Friendly comfortable value for money...

Liked: The property was clean and presettable with a really comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was nice. Location close to bars and food places. Value for money!!!
Disliked: It was warm and had to open the window, so traffic was loud but we still slept well.

Disliked: Bed was much too soft - personnel preference but I did manage to sleep okish
