Beautiful location on beach but...

Disliked: Air conditioner so loud couldn’t use, sewage smell (room right near restaurant)

Despite these negatives, our week...

Liked: The food we ate was very good. Margaritas at the bar, and other specialty cocktails were excellent! Plus we enjoyed a complimentary cocktail! The pool with the exception of one day was clean ( the one day it was VERY sandy I did report it to the front desk and they said the pool maintenance worker had called in sick that day)
Disliked: We had no idea there was no elevator and we were roomed on the 3rd floor-both of us in our 70s. Carrying our luggage up was a challenge. Also only 1 ice machine and it was on the 1st floor and again no one at the desk gave that info. Also only 1 microwave…again on the 1st flour with no mention of that. We are typically used to a microwave in our hotel room at other venues. Lastly checking in when there is only 1 person working and a long line is not good form. Check in time was 4 pm so of course there were plenty of guests arriving at the time we were given but there was only 1 person working

Lovely, but...

Liked: Obviously, location! 2nd time here. Room with ocean view great.Pool was lovely. Restaurant good meals. Like dining outside.
Disliked: No microwave in room.Some offering of muffins or bagels at coffee station would be awesome since restaurant not open for breakfast. I requested 1st floor. We had #146. Was suggested we park on side of building and use that entrance. Were not advised of stairs. Assumed none since 1stfloor. Guess entrance is actually basement level. There are stairs there then more stairs up to level of our room. If we used main entrance it was quite a long maze. Still would've had last set of stairs. Not fun with trouble walking and difficulty using stairs.

Liked: The staff was fantastic . I especially liked your new bartender Marcus he was very professional and very nice to talk with. The view was beyond expe tations.
Disliked: I wish you had breakfast even if it's like a small buffet.

Liked: Location is the only thing this hotel has going for themselves at this point.
Disliked: Unfortunately it was not a very pleasant stay this time around. We have been coming here for years and have continued to choose PV Inn time and time again. Honestly after this stay we may not be back. It was refreshing to see it has been renovated but unfortunately many things fell short such as outlets and smell throughout. The destination fee was new to us and absolutely ridiculous; we don’t drink and couldn’t find a parking spot in either lot. Not sure what we are exactly paying this $45 or so fee for as this is absolutely not a resort. We had a very crappy start upon check in as the poor girl at the desk looked as if she hated her life and didn’t want to be there. She could care less about our questions or comments. Her facial gestures were completely uninviting and even dismissive. When we got to our room, we noticed they did not honor any of our requests such as higher floor or extra towels even though it was confirmed by hotel and stated months ago. To make matters worse, housekeeping walked in on us as we were naked in bed! No knock no thing. Just completely scanned key card and barged in. Absolutely ridiculous. Not sure if the hotel has gone to shit or the youth working it has but it was such a disappointing and upsetting stay hence why I am even bothering to write all of this. The hotel is trying but they have to stick to what they know because they are losing loyal customers that have been coming for years.

Disliked: I’ve been staying at PVI for many years now and with the substantial increase to the rates, it’s not acceptable to have the rooms in the condition that they are - musty, not that clean - housekeeping doesn’t even come daily unless you ask which is a bit of a scam considering there’s a daily fee for cleaning.

Horrible and never again!!

Liked: Location to the beach.
Disliked: The staff was never around when needed. the carpet in the room was disgusting. There was a lot of water on the floor in the halls and no signs about caution of falling. To top it all off there was bugs and cockroaches in the hallways. Front desk clearly did not care because I booked through this website. For over $400 they need to clean up the place or be shut down!!!
