Good location. Helpful friendly staff....

Liked: Very friendly helpful staff. The room was a good size and clean.Breakfast had an excellent range of food to choose from and a high-quality coffee machine.The location was perfect regarding Pulheim and the friends we needed to visit.
Disliked: The pillows squashed to nothing causing me to toss and turn at night, so the only area to improve is this.

Liked: I stayed with my family and really appreciated the spaciousness and cleanliness of the room. It was a significant improvement compared to a few weeks ago when I stayed alone in a much smaller room.
Disliked: Unfortunately, our experience at the hotel was marred by an unfortunate incident involving my wife and a member of the staff. I had booked the hotel through Booking.com, which already had my credit card details on file. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay for the stay immediately, which was not an issue for me.Shortly after, I had to step out of the hotel for a few minutes and asked the staff if my wife could enjoy a coffee at the bar/restaurant while waiting. They agreed. However, when I was not there , a member of the staff insisted that she pay immediately and allegedly hinted that she should not leave the bar/restaurant before settling the bill.As my wife is Asian, she perceived this as discriminatory and felt harassed. She wasn’t aware this was reportedly hotel policy and had no way to pay at the time, so she called me to return and resolve the situation.I raised the issue with the staff, as the manager was unavailable, and found the policy unusual for a hotel of this standard. I suggest management review this policy to prevent similar incidents in the future.
