A great hotel to stay....

Liked: The location is great - one of the placed hotels in Gelsenkirchen. The staff was exceptional, helpful in every way and they smile!The room was quiet and well furnished, everything was in place. Maybe the pillows might be somehow better - that is my sincere opinion. The breakfast was a feast itself - very large selection, all of prime quality. Very nice tea selection - really one of the best in Germany.

Liked: The staff were all lovely and welcoming, The breakfasts had plenty of choice and always fresh
Disliked: The flood in my bathroom on first night from a split pipe above my room and although dealt with and room moved there was no offer/suggestion of compensation reduction even a free drink or 2 in the bar would have been something for the inconvenience and then not being next door to my mums room. The toilet flush stuck on the last morning.The noise from building works going on...only noticed when moved to my new room..Had to ask for a kettle and cup, bought up fine and quickly but no tea/coffee etc
