A great setting for the...

Liked: Great location and quiet. A walkable beach.
Disliked: Wasn;t familiar with the ceiling radiant heaters. Thermostats didn't seem to work, but we managed with On/Off control.

comfortable, serene and quiet with...

Liked: The cottage was quaint but comfortable. The property was glorious. The kitchen was well equipped but not all the wall plugs worked.
Disliked: The bathroom needed updating. Taller toilet, more hooks on wall or door for hanging towels and a small cabinet for putting toiletries.

We enjoyed our stay!

Liked: I thought the plantation motel was clean and comfortable. The owners were very nice. We stayed in a double room, it was not fancy, it was simple but had everything we needed. It was close to Sandusky so we could easily visit.

Liked: It was a one night stay that included wood for a fire ring overlooking the lake for three old men to reunite and share stories around. Could not have fit our needs better. The weather and location were ideal.
