Liked: How quiet and peaceful it was...the hammocks....and the stars. Thank you!
Disliked: I'd like to see a stronger Wi-Fi. It was fine in the room, but when I went to lay in the hammock, I lost it..

Liked: We have travelled a lot of America and this was one of our favourite stops ever. Incredible experience in this Cowboy town the Motel was fantastic.

A restorative and delightful two...
Liked: Rene at the front desk was fantastic! From her warm and informative welcome to troubleshooting when I needed it she was outstanding. The location was perfect for proximity to the historic Pioneertown set, shops, Pappy & Harriet's, and local sightseeing that included Joshua Tree. The bed was super comfortable, as was the bedding and pillows. I loved the local liquid hand soap and body lotion. It was quiet and I slept well. I also enjoyed the canteen that had fresh brewed complimentary coffee, tea and water. It was a particular pleasure to grab a warm cup of coffee and watch the spectacular sunrises that only the desert can offer.
Disliked: I was ok without this...but don't come here to watch your tv shows and do what you do at home. There is no TV in the room. It is a real throwback to another time and I found accepting that invitation left me so recharged. I did have internet in the room and was able to do what was necessary that way.

Noisy and sleepless stay.
Disliked: Dogs barking next door from 10:00pm to 12:00am, then guests partying to 1:30am. Walls are very thin so the noise was pretty awful.

Fantastic Concert and No Need...
Liked: We drove a long way to attend a wonderful concert at Pappy & Harriet’s on 26 March 2025. The motel is an easy walk from the venue. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice hot shower and cool tile floor. There were board games and a guitar in the room. No TV, but WiFi for our mobile devices. Really good coffee in the canteen room in the morning.
Disliked: We had brought some food with us and there was no way to warm it up, other than bothering the motel staff to use their lunchroom microwave.We decided to eat it cold and that was fine.
