Would have liked to stay...
Liked: Spacious room, really attentive staff, clean, great location (many trails nearby). Complimentary tea was much appreciated and very good (never had better macarons!). A quick dinner bite in the lounge was great quality!
Disliked: Breakfast staff was very low, just one person for all tables. After a large group, that was clearly not enough. The second day there were lots of things that were not replenished, like croissants and orange juice. The quality of the rest was very good, though. Most was made to order and superfresh and very good. This was just a minor negative, nothing to get too upset about (and I could have asked).

Lovely stay at Pine Trees
Liked: The attention to the little details is what makes the difference and they definitely pay attention to them at Pine Trees. The staff was lovely and made our stay remarkable. Cosy room and the whole hotel, knowledgeable staff and happy to help. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was exquisite. We wish we could stay more, but we are coming back for sure.
Disliked: Everything was amazing

Beautiful stylish hotel, great staff...
Liked: Decor was lovely. Staff were very attentive much better than other UK hotels I’ve stayed at. Although they had limited plant based options on the menu, one of the options they had was good and they did a fab plant based roast dinner. The little touches were lovely, like the chocolates in the room, the snack bar and welcome drinks. All things that didn’t cost much I’m sure but made you feel looked after and like you were getting value.
Disliked: Labelling on the menu was a bit mixed up and confusing for vegan options. A gym would have been the icing on the cake even just some mats and weights to counteract all the walking! Worth knowing that the snug really is snug and I’d have upgraded to the next size up ideally.

Liked: The Scottish larder, Brontë on Front Desk, the interior. Absolutely gorgeous.
Disliked: Nothing.
