Liked: Staff was friendly and accommodated our early check in so we could nap our baby. The room was nice and clean, the location was perfect for walking to the river (ask where the stairs are); breakfast was enjoyable and overall we had a great experience.
Disliked: While the deck overlooking the river is wonderful the busy road is a bit distracting.

Liked: Ginnie greeted us warmly upon our arrival and was very friendly and helpful. She came to our room to fix our TV cable reception and had a flashlight to use when we couldn't find something. She offered us a complimentary beverage to take to our room. She was wonderful and added a nice personal touch to our stay.The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. The fireplace was on and background music playing on the TV. It was easy to control the heating system. We felt very cozy and at-home in our river view room.
Disliked: The continental breakfast was not very good, especially on the second day. No decaf coffee, ran out of orange juice and yogurt, no spoons to use, pastries were dry. Overall it was very disappointing and no one was around to help us. We finally went into the kitchen to find juice and yogurt but there was no decaf coffee or herbal tea and no clean spoons.Directions were sent by email several times but it was too wordy and complicated. We had to ask a nearby business to assist us in locating the hotel. The entrance to the hotel required that we drive beyond it and make a u turn, which was confusing.

Disliked: There were bedbugs and I woke up covered in bites. I was in room 218.
