Great stay in a great...

Liked: The hotel is very close to the central train station and city center, so for me it was perfect in terms of location. The rooms are very clean, staff is friendly and there is in a quiet area. I liked the gym; small but with enough machines to work the entire body.

Disliked: Dear Pillow Hotel Management,I recently stayed at your hotel and checked out at 1:00 PM. While the overall experience at your property was very pleasant—your facilities are lovely and the atmosphere is welcoming—I would like to share some feedback regarding my checkout experience that I believe warrants your attention.Upon departure, I was informed by the front office staff that I needed to pay a €10 late checkout fee for checking out one hour past the standard time. While I understand that hotels may have policies around this, I was surprised by the inflexibility, especially considering I travel weekly and have done so for over 35 years. In all my experience, a one-hour delay has typically been accommodated without additional charge as part of a general courtesy buffer.What concerned me more than the fee itself—an amount I’m not personally worried about—was the manner in which the situation was handled. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was curtly told it wasn’t necessary and that the charge would simply be deducted. The tone and communication style felt more transactional than service-oriented, which stood in stark contrast to the rest of my stay.My intention in sharing this is not to complain, but to offer honest feedback. I believe that how guests are treated—especially in minor matters—has a lasting impact. The individual I dealt with may benefit from additional training in guest communication and hospitality standards.Thank you again for a mostly enjoyable stay. 2 nights in Brussels

Liked: The room was impeccable, the bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The receptionists did an amazing job, were super helpful and answered lots of our questions about the stay and the city. The central location made it super easy to head down to the historic city center. The distance from the central train station was optimal too, that let us travel to other cities without any difficulties. The AC in the room and the complimentary water was much needed for the hot days of summer we encountered.

Serene hotel in the centre...

Liked: Serene and stylish hotel close to Brussels Central station and just a short walk from the Grand Place. The walk back up to the hotel is a little steep so bear that in mind if like me you have mobility issues.The reception team were very helpful on our arrival and gave us a map of Brussels and some recommendations to get us started. The room was beautifully clean and the chocolates on arrival were a nice touch.We barely saw let alone heard any other guests and there was no noise from outside the hotel.
Disliked: Our only fault was that our on was at the back of the hotel and we had an office block looking into the room, if we stayed again we would definitely request a room at the front of the hotel as the curtains were not dark enough to block out the ambient light.

Liked: Location was great, very convenient. Walkable distance to main activities. The room was clean.
Disliked: The room lacked day light, as we were on 1rst floor and there was another high floor building opposite the window.Lots of work in the streets near by.
