Great for Shaw Festival shows....

Liked: We had little time to use the facilities, our fault. They looked nice and busy. The room was a generous size, which we loved.
Disliked: For the cost, it would be nice to have a continental breakfast included in the price, since the only option for breakfast was a buffet. Our mattress was okay, but I could feel metal springs; it could use a new one, room 260. Would we return? YESWe happened to arrive as a large group was checking it. It was very chaotic; they should have a separate area for large groups. We had to wait in line for a while to check in. Bathrooms are large, with one sink, the countertop is nicely sized, but the shower has no place for women to place their leg while shaving, which is a safety concern.

Great girls weekend - will...

Liked: Spa was wonderful as was the pool. Room was nice, great shower and loved the fireplace. Location is fantastic, short walk downtown. Gardens are also superior.

Dissappointing - far prefer the...

Liked: Walking through the beautiful garden.
Disliked: Our room needs some attention with painting, and fixing the cupboard door which was very difficult to open, and it made a loud squeak when you opened it. The air conditioning was very noisy and the whole unit had to be replaced so we could get some sleep. The bathroom was small for two people to use, and the mattress on one of the beds was uncomfortable as it had a ridge down the centre of the mattress. The hotel does not have an elevator to get to the second floor.

Superb

Liked: the Cannery dining room was great.
Disliked: the room was good but the bath room was not. the shower was hard to operate (stiff handle) the shower head squeels and the fan roars loudly. Also you might want to invest in a non slip bathtub application.
