Very good
Liked: The bed was comfortable and the curtains were nice.
Disliked: The carpet was marked and stained, the bath was chipped and could do with a new plug. The tv was free view but the signal was very bad and could not get most channels.

Comfortable and clean but overpriced...
Liked: Spacious room. Clean. Bed comfortableGood range of continental breakfast foodsSaw one member of staff who was helpful and friendly
Disliked: Rather souless, no atmosphere. Rooms felt a bit like an upmarket hostel. On Main Street so central but noisy until quite late although we did know the location when we booked so expected this. Very expensive for quality

Good
Liked: The location is right in the centre, a five minute walk from the Cathedral. Being in the centre comes with town centre noise. Windows have secondary glazing. Coming from a quiet village, if we wanted the windows open, it would have been too noisy to sleep, so the windows remained closed. If you already live in a town centre environment, then may not be an issue for you.
Disliked: Parking is in one of the local car parks. At check in, there was a communication issue between receptionist and me. What shoukd happen is ask for car park voucher at check-in. Do not leave it till check out. We stayed 2 nights and the car park cost £40. It would be cheaper with a voucher, I think costing £32. Regardless, the £40 is about what you can expect to pay in a lot of tourist locations.
