Disliked: The room looked clean to a quick eye however on closer inspection there was a lot of dust on and around surfaces and some HUGE cobwebs (if not noticed already behind the shower and sink in the garden suite)

Disliked: The walls and ceilings are paper thin and constantly heard people above us and next to us. Not much around in the area. Bar was expensive.

Liked: I hadn't pre-ordered breakfast but asked if I could access it and was told to just turn up. Sadly I stayed on Friday and Saturday nights and breakfasts the following morning didn't start until 8, too late for me to consume and then depart for meetings in the city, negotiate parking etc. Relatively clean, adequate facilities in bathroom. Comfy bed.
Disliked: Sloping roof in room, managed to bang my head on it three times trying to access/leave the bed (I'm 5'5''). No lift, no offer to help haul luggage up and down the meandering stairs (despite me clearly being elderly). The hotel has sensational views at the rear; sadly my room overlooked the car park and the very busy A49. No chiller cabinet for keeping water, other drinks etc. which would have been very welcome considering how hot it was. No air conditioning.
