Best place to stay in...

Liked: Great old style lodge accommodation right on the Chena River.it's quirky and eccentric in an Alaskan style with stuffed bears and antique artworks. Ideal for seeing northern lights - you even get wake-up calls when they are dancing across the sky. Free breakfast (although basic) is filling and an easy start to the day. Much nicer than the corporate hotels in the town.
Disliked: Use of plastics, paper and disposable cups, cutlery and plates. In such a pristine location it just seems wrong. It cheapens the whole experience.

Not happy with the room....

Liked: Nice and rustic front desk area! Hot breakfast was nice too.
Disliked: Some of the front desk staff looked like they didn’t want to be there. They were rude. Never responded to the message sent to them.
