Liked: The Pike and Eel has always been a favourite with me as I first went there over forty years ago and fell in love with the location and the accommodation there and have gone back many times over the years.

Liked: Very cosy and modern room. Heating came on really quickly and no noise at all
Disliked: If I was to be really picky, make the hotel reception easier to find rather than walking through the pub. As a young girl I didn’t feel 100% comfortable doing that but that’s if I am being REALLY picky

Great location but disappointingly unclean

Liked: The room smelt damp/dank. The shower head and sink tap were covered in lime scale. The tiles in the bathroom around the sink hadn't been cleaned. There were hairs all over the bath. The fan was thick with dust. The bed throw was stained. There were ants on the floor. The left hand blind isn't attached and fell off.

Exceptional
