Liked: The evening meal and staff were excellent.
Disliked: The breakfast was average and the staff a bit non smiling.

Exceptional

Liked: All the staff was brilliant! We felt so bad when our 4yr old was sick in the lobby while checking in (turns out she had an ear infection). The staff told us not to worry and they will handle it. So we checked in at the mews and the rooms was lovely and spacious. Beds was very comfortable too, we would have slept very well on them if our daughter wasn't poorly. We found out she had an ear infection and had a short notice hospital appointment early in the morning. The staffs just been great and schedule us in for an earlier breakfast and took our order on the phone, so it was waiting at the table for us when we was ready. Breakfast was delicious and lots of options and we also had dinner the night before and that was great too.Would love to stay again in the future

A lovely hotel in a...

Liked: Hotel ambiance and friendly staff.
Disliked: Hard to get a pre dinner drink due to wedding taking up the facilities. Given the worst table in the restaurant (did get moved) but no acknowledgment of the special occasion as mentioned when booking

Good position for golf, nice...

Liked: Nice position and ambience, staff were lovely
Disliked: The bathroom needed better ventilation.

Staff, hotel and grounds brilliant....

Liked: I thought the hotel & gardens beautiful but not everyone likes a cooked breakfast so my breakfast was piece of toast with marmalade and yogurt. The fruit selection very poor, no grapefruit, berries just a big bowl of mostly chopped apple in juice
Disliked: See previous question also our party found it unbelievable that if you didn't want herb bread with lasagne but some chips you had to pay extra

Liked: My first impression when we arrived place was absolutely beautiful, staff was absolutely polite & very helpful. Our rooms were perfect.

Liked: The grounds & building & my room was lovely the evening meal was lovely .but breakfast very disappointing had to ask them to if they were going to replenish at 850am it was still not replenished as I left & cooked Scottish was tasteless I got home to find out that my Niece had emailed & phoned to let them know it was a special Birthday & asked them to wish me a Happy Birthday no no avail
