Dating back to 1375 Phi Hotel Bologna is one of Bologna's oldest boutique hotels in the historic city center. It combines 600 years of hospitality with modern facilities to ensure a pleasant stay next to Piazza Maggiore the city's main square. The Hotel is located in a restricted traffic area (ZTL) but guarantees access and offers a private paid garage on request (to be booked in advance) for those of you arriving by car. Very nice place to stay!

Liked: Great employees and location. Wonderful restaurant attached to building. Offer lots of little perks to help enjoy your stay. We visited in March. Loved touring around Bologna on foot.
Disliked: Unfortunately our room (floor) was quite warm and when you opened the windows to cool off the street noise was quite loud. Didn’t appear to be any AC available at that time.

Liked: Location excellent. Good choice of breakfast items. Staff helpfulness.
Disliked: Room had everything necessary but on the small side. Understandable for a city centre hotel.

A perfect hotel for a...

Liked: Breakfast was always excellent. The hotel is perfectly located in central Bologna near the Piazza Maggiore but far enough away not to hear any nocturnal revels. The room is small but well appointed.
Disliked: Breakfast could occasionally be a bit of a scrum if arrival is poorly timed.
