Great hotel, great location.

Liked: A great hotel in a brilliant location. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quirky and reasonably well equipped. A few very little things went wrong, but they were fixed quickly and efficiently. The breakfast was varied and plentiful - roasted veg with breakfast was welcome. We would definitely stay again.

Hotel in great location but...

Liked: The location is perfect and near the centre the old town and easy walking to everything! Staff were very helpful.
Disliked: The rooms ae now looking rather tired and in need of updating, paint was peeling in our room and shower and bathroom needs updating. The worst aspect we were on the higher level floor and during and on the lift was out of order for the whole of our stay it became very tiring to climb 4 flights of stairs especially late at night! The breakfast was also very average, not much selection, we were never asked if wanted the cooked option! Bearing in mind that Bologna is the food capital of Italy would have liked to have seen more selection particularly pastries. Also they need a proper toaster!

Disliked: Water in room on arrival but, for the price, I think they could have provided this every day.

Liked: Excellent location in the historic centre of Bologna.The breakfast served in the hotel's restaurant was excellent, quality of produce was very good coupled with excellent service.
Disliked: Nothing and would definitely stay again.
