Originally built in 1905 and surrounded by 30 acres of beautiful gardens this former country house offers free Wi-Fi free car parking and log fires in the drawing room. It features a beauty and wellbeing studio restaurant terrace bar as well as conference and banqueting facilities. Rooms at the Petwood Hotel feature an private bathroom with a hairdryer. They also include a TV radio tea/coffee making facilities and some rooms have garden views. The Restaurant serves fine cuisine influenced by locally sourced produce. The hotel famous for its RAF connection and was used in World War II by the 617 Squadron. You can visit the Squadron Bar to view memorabilia and tributes to the officers. The Squadron Bar is also available for private hire. Home of England Golf the Woodhall Spa Golf Club is a 5-minute drive from the Petwood Hotel. Guests can enjoy a stroll through the historic town take afternoon tea and lunch on the hotel's terrace or enjoy a range of beauty treatments. The hotel is only a 2-minute stroll from Jubillee Park where you can go swimming and play tennis. It is a 5-minute drive to Bainland Country Park which offers bike hire horse riding and microlight flying.

First class stay.

Liked: Stunning setting, beautiful building with lots of great spaces to relax, comfortable and airy bedroom, with everything you could need. Friendly, helpful staff, and amazing gardens to walk off the fabulous food! First class stay, booked another visit before leaving!
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The hotel is lovely, the grounds are beautiful to walk round. Hotel receptionists very friendly and informative. Bar staff friendly. Room really comfortable and very clean. Plenty of parking
Disliked: There was a wedding on very noisy in the room where I was. People talking in the corridors till early hours . Nothing to do with the beautiful hotel and surroundings

This is our second visit...

Liked: The history and the building itself are lovely and the gardens are beautiful.
Disliked: Very noisy, no sleep , a small room for the price paid . Staff not interested . Shower was very hot or cold and just a trickle of water.

Liked: Absolutely beautiful surroundings and lovely hotel.Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Disliked: The only thing was, and I'm sure it can't be helped, but the shower pressure was shocking!Fine for a quick shower but if you've thick hair to wash.....
