Liked: Location, comfortable beds, clean
Disliked: Shower did not drain properly, the room was not a typical floor plan, windows small and felt a little trapped. Room was only good for sleeping at night. Not enjoying during the day.

Liked: Check in was great, breakfast was fabulous, large selection & good coffee. After complaining about our room, 118, being just above street level, dark, dingy, small and down stairs. We asked to be moved to a higher floor with lift access & were moved to a 3rd floor room. Doors opened to a view of the street. Being near Plaza Mayor I thought there would be street noise at night but we didn’t hear anything. Air con was great after long days of walking. Position was fabulous to get to everything. Sights, restaurants, supermarket.
Disliked: The dungeon room. No lounge area to sit and read. We were fortunate that Joel on the front desk brought us another desk chair so we could sit & watch the world go by from our open doors.

Very nice base for Madrid...

Liked: The room, location, amenities, breakfast, staff.
Disliked: The glass shower enclosure leaves light in the room which can disturb spouse if still sleeping.
