Liked: Great hotel, perfect location for exploring the Brecon. Stayed on the top floor in ‘Talybont’, quite a few stairs but worth it. My wife used the spa several times and was very happy with her treatments. Restaurant food was very good, menu didn’t change but that’s fine for a 2 night stay. Would recommend the hotel.

Perfect retreat in a beautiful...

Liked: We had a lovely, large room with a view of the hills and a generous bathroom with fluffy towels and robes. The food was exceptional at dinner and breakfast, as was the friendly service from all the staff.I enjoyed an excellent coffee in front of the fire in the beautiful panelled lounge. We explored the grounds with a woodland walk down to the river; it was such a genuine surprise to find beyond the garden and pool. Such a peaceful place, a welcome retreat.
Disliked: If you are on the top floor, there are a lot of stairs, and it's not so easy to manage with cases.
