Disliked: Cost of Breakfast was out of proportion to the cost of room

Liked: Poor welcome on arrival but pleasant when we were leaving. The location is superb but the superior double room was less than standard.

Lovely room, poor food, average...

Liked: Beautiful building, lovely location, room was lovely and very clean throughout.
Disliked: Staff were not particularly helpful or attentive on reception, it felt somewhat chaotic and they were not very friendly. Room service menu is poor, restaurant menu was average and food was mediocre, definitely not worth the prices charged.

So relaxing for a London...

Liked: The balcony and the views are exceptional.
Disliked: We thought that the breakfast was definitely overpriced. We would have expected to be able to have had cereal/yogurt & fresh food as well as the cooked bit and maybe pastries to have been other than just one croissant. Beautiful views from the restaurant and we can't fault the service or the food that we actually had

Liked: Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly without being pushy. Breakfast was included in my price and exceeded my expectations
