Very pleasant sophisticated stay in...

Liked: The hotel is in a great location. When we arrived with a mountain of suitcases, we were greeted immediately by 2 staff outside on the kerb and we had a very pleasant experience checking in and was offered sparkling wine or cold flavoured water. A good sign of things to come. We loved spending time at the pool on the roof and chatting to the bar staff there. We also spent time in the court yard restaurant, a very relaxed and beautiful area.
Disliked: nothing

Liked: Beautiful central hotel in the historical part, very clean, comfortable
Disliked: Breakfast plates that are available to be picked up for breakfast choice were dirty, I had to ask to remove very dirty plates two days in a row.

Liked: Wonderful location. My room had a balcony overlooking the square so there was always something interesting going on. Pretty breakfast room with a lovely breakfast buffet. The dinner menu was also nice.

Top hotel in Madrid

Liked: The location was brilliant, staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very good.The room we had 309 was very comfortable with a good bed and wonderful view of Plaza Mayor.The AC work very well even though outside it was as 39c the room was a very cool 21c.The basement pool is very nice on a very hot day.My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much.

Exceptional

Liked: I upgraded the room to one with a view of the square, and the view was amazing — I liked everything!Roftop pool — the views from up there are stunning.
Disliked: The price seems a bit high, but overall, everything was great

Liked: Exceptionally beautiful hotel, great staff and great location. The indoor pool is amazing.
Disliked: Pool area is very tight and not enough seating when busy and current seating configuration is a bit odd.

Liked: An excellent choice if you want a centrally located boutique hotel from where you can walk to all the main attractions. Excellent breakfast; the pool provided welcome relief at the end of a hot day; very helpful, friendly staff. Very quiet where we were too. We loved our stay.
Disliked: The ‘classic’ rooms are pretty small with no separate bathroom per se - a bit strange but functional enough.
