Liked: Should not be called a luxury collection. Terrible hotel
Disliked: Rude staff. No coffee machines in the room. The rooms need an upgrade dirty and closet doors do not close.

Disliked: Our reservation had been cancelled.No idea why/who had done that. As the Perry Lane was fully booked, we had to move to another lower rated hotel. A very unpleasant experience!!!!!. Especially when you arrive at 10:00 PM on a Sunday after a flight from LA.

Liked: The location within the historical district, restaurants, river events, art, etc. was perfect. The Hotel restaurant was excellent.
Disliked: The rooms are pretty old, including the plumbing and HVAC. It took 5 - 10 minutes to set the shower water temperature correctly due to a very old temp control faucet. The HVAC controller was similar, very old and not as intuitive as most homes today. Wish we were warned on the room location being next to the alley that had continuous loud diesel trucks idling for long periods and deliveries through the night. We had rain and cool temps while there and running outside between the two buildings for meals, coffee, and the workout center seemed a bit odd for a premium hotel. Would have thought it would have had at least a canopy overhead, or better yet, a upper floor covered walkway or an tunnel under the road. This one is picky and many of the hotel's customers probably don't use the work out center.... but the room is kept hot, near 70 degrees while it should be set at low to mid 60s for people who exercise. There were two elipticals and one of them is making loud clanking noise like the bearings are failing. The last comment for improvement is for the city. The water drainage on the road between the two hotel buildings is non-existent. It rained our first day, and the rain water was up to the curb in depth where people had walk in the way of cars at the corner to avoid the water, and it never drained even after our 3 day stay.

Liked: Location. Promise of luxury.
Disliked: Under staffed during our stay. Unable to securely identify guests vs. Nonguests. No access to pool. Waited over 20 min each time for our vehicle. Inconvenient to ask for ice. The list goes on. Extremely disappointing as I had high hopes.

Disliked: strong fragrance in lobby of second tower ..scent smells like buttered popcorn.shower/bath fixtures complex to use and get right
