Pentire Hotel

Exceptional

Liked: We spent a week here for my 60th birthday in May. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The view from the room was looking over Fistral beach. I cannot complain about anything during our stay here. The food in the bistro was delicious, especially the lasagne.
Disliked: There is nothing to dislike about this hotel.

Rip off and disgusting.

Liked: It appears we were given an extremely poor room for our money due to maybe having a dog with us. It was more like a hostel room rather than a £170 a night room.
Disliked: The blue walls. No pictures. Bland. Dirty old. I'm need of revamp. Bathroom awful. Old tatty. Tiny bath. Shower screen didn't do job. Shower swivelled round on its own. Tiles cracked. Curtains looked dirty. Hot room. Light coming through the door keeping us awake Downstairs lobby looked fine. Swimming pool nice but ceiling damp patches. Looked like roof was about to fall in. Sun loungers had padded seat covers but I wasn't going to sit on them!! Looked wet old and saggy.

Liked: Clean rooms and nice breakfast, nice bar area
Disliked: Parking charge additional

Won’t be staying again

Liked: Location. Bed was fairly comfortable
Disliked: Needs updating through out. Wall paper hanging off walls and very creaky floors. And rooms were very hot at only 20 degrees outside. Food in the evening(sixty bistro) was absolutely terrible
