Negative meh

Disliked: The hotel is within a porsh part of, and almost at the city-centre of, Leuven. However, a hotel must not take this fact for granted, and compromise with the hospitality that the guests deserve.When paying a little less than 200 Euros a day, a guest expects to be pampered like a zoo panda, and not struggle with basic necessities such as heating. Despite this, other amenities that were promised such as a minibar, bedding, etc were either absent or inadequate, and in my opinion, an abuse of notation.A hotel must not assume that a traveller will stay out all 24 hours of a day, and enjoy the city, and ignore the state of the hotel room. I am, in fact, suspicious if I was provided the room that I was promised, or otherwise if my investment was taken for granted. The experience at the hotel, in my opinion, was nothing more than adequate, which could be fulfilled even if would have payed less than half of the money that I payed, and I kept on to stay for 6 days only because I couldn't cancel, as per booking.com policy.
