Very good

Cheapish and cheerful basic hotel.

Liked: Breakfast very good;. Loved the simple decor and facilities in the room. Good value for our regular short stay of 2-3 nights. Best value per night of any hotel in the town.
Disliked: location of breakfast in hotel foyer was poor as it continues to be a working construction site with workers passing through continuously. Having to park in a public car park 200 metres away from the hotel. Was a negative point.

Pity about the manager and...

Liked: Most of the staff were so good attentive etc except the manager.
Disliked: We paid for 2 nights parking and then on second night were told that if you leave the space you lose it. When my husband queried it in a frustrated way the manager said "i will rerurn all your booking if you like". He was very rude to my hisband. We booked 2 rooms and had 2 ladies with us who are disabled. This is not what we expected
