Almost perfect apart from the...

Liked: Breakfast was better than a lot of hotels and value for money. Some of the cooked items had started to dry out but that was due to it being kept warm for a while.
Disliked: We had a huge problem with the bathroom. The shower water did not drain away and flooded the whole bathroom.

Uninterested staff, pathetic car park...

Liked: The Room was a decent size, the shower was nice and the hotel was close to where I needed to be. Also very local to a lot food places and shops. If you want cheaper and better parking, park in the car park around the corner!
Disliked: There was no talk of breakfast until I messaged the place, even then I was told it's £8.50 when their website says it's £7.50. Their page on here says you need ID and your card even if you've paid but when I messaged I was then told I didn't need my card and when I checked in I didn't need my ID either. Their page clearly states it's first come first serve for the car park and they then say there's more local parking nearby, however it isn't until you're in their miniscule car park not big enough to fit even a quarter of their occupants that you're told exactly where you can park as everything is permit parking remotely close to the hotel. Arriving with an over tired toddler and having to get back in my car to go find a car park which is thankfully across the bridge (walking) caused a lot of issues and the hotel receptionist was the most miserable person I've ever met in my life, no smile, no welcome, no communication that you'd get in other hotels.

Convenient and clean

Liked: The hotel was within walking distance from the station. The room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The aircon was quite noisy, so I couldn't sleep with it on.

Disliked: I didn't have any problems to dislike.
