Liked: Love the bar area so relaxing and spacious, great background music for a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was really good. Rooms clean and spacious, bed comfy and loved the feather pillows.
Disliked: The drilling at 9am on a bank holiday Monday, there are plenty of signs up about the new changes and building work going on so I wasn’t that surprised just couldn’t find anything else I didn’t like about the hotel.

Liked: The price was okay and the rooms were pretty good.
Disliked: Firstly, I returned to the hotel after an event.Wanted to buy a bottle of water. They said 500ml water bottle is £5. I've been to many places and stayed in many 5* hotels no one charge £5 for 500ml water bottle lol. I find that abnormal, and it feels like they try to scam you. Secondly, I came back from an event, I was so tired and wanted to have a good night sleep as I had a long drive the following morning. Since 7am in the morning, hard banging sound came through. It interrupted my sleep. Didn't expect that from a hotel, especially on a bank holiday.Thirdly, when I checked in, I paid £10 for the hotel car park to park the car overnight. When I returned from the event, there was no parking space available to park the car. They asked me to park somewhere public and walk back to the hotel. I find that very unprofessional and not organised. However, they did refund the £10.Finally, they should add complimentary water bottles to the room.
