The pentahotel Derby is located in Pride Park within walking distance of Derby Train Station and the city center. The hotel offers pay parking and free WiFi in all areas. It is ideally located to explore Derby and the Derbyshire Dales with many of the National Trust properties being only a short drive away. Alton Towers is only a 25 minutes' drive from the hotel. All the rooms are en suite and have an air flow system. They all have tea/coffee making facilities and laptop safes are available at reception. Other features include a 40-inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels and complimentary pay movies. The pentahotel Derby hosts the Pentalounge Bar and Restaurant which serves both traditional and international cuisine. A buffet breakfast is served daily with servings until 10:30 on Sunday mornings. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Liked: Service on Check in and departure was prompt and good Staff were professional and helpfulFood at dinner and breakfast was excellentEasy to walk into town
Disliked: NO TOWEL RAIL IN THE BATHROOM TO HANG DAMP TOWELS AND WE WANTED TO BE ECO AND REUSE THE TOWELS.

Not used this brand before...

Liked: very friendly reception, hotel was clean and well maintained, room was comfortable and quiet,
Disliked: the food area for breakfast was a bit small - it was squeeze for people to get in and out, and the hot food quickly ran out. There weren't any fried eggs or veggie sausages

Good comfortable hotel at the...

Liked: Comfortable room with good shower in bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.
Disliked: Location some way from centre of Derby on a business park so long way to walk unless you get permission to cross the bridge at the station.
