The pentahotel Derby is located in Pride Park within walking distance of Derby Train Station and the city center. The hotel offers pay parking and free WiFi in all areas. It is ideally located to explore Derby and the Derbyshire Dales with many of the National Trust properties being only a short drive away. Alton Towers is only a 25 minutes' drive from the hotel. All the rooms are en suite and have an air flow system. They all have tea/coffee making facilities and laptop safes are available at reception. Other features include a 40-inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels and complimentary pay movies. The pentahotel Derby hosts the Pentalounge Bar and Restaurant which serves both traditional and international cuisine. A buffet breakfast is served daily with servings until 10:30 on Sunday mornings. Highly recommend, good location and...

Liked: The staff were friendly and welcoming! The food at breakfast was amazing and the bed was unbelievably comfy

Liked: It was ok for the cost food choices were limited
Disliked: The bathroom tiles were very odd looked like they needed grouting very wobbly and needed a good clean

won't be back

Disliked: Heating in room didn't work shower was terrible cups weren't replaced with clean ones daily and no milk or tea bags. Breakfast was awful.

Excellent hotel

Liked: Clean, modern hotel in a good location. Restaurant very nice.
Disliked: Minor issue with door card, but quickly resolved.
