A magnificent stay in a...

Liked: Beautiful building of historical significance. Furnished with antiques. Beautiful view over Florence from our room and also the Pensionne Terazzo. Gorgeous grounds and surrounds.
Disliked: Some staff appeared a little aloof and unfriendly whereas others were fabulous

A great place to stay...

Liked: Loved the view from the garden and meals on the veranda overlooking Florence
Disliked: The room I stayed in was clean and the beds were fine. But as someone who was traveling for work, I missed not having a table or chair to sit on. There were none of either, only the beds, even though there was plenty of space in the room for adding such basics.

Nice but not a good...

Liked: View, breakfast, location.
Disliked: Dinner, rooms had no place for our luggage, bed was hard, pillows were hard, staff smoking on the entry steps, no place to set things on in our bathroom and the sitting benches on the veranda were uncomfortable
