Beautiful Spa, hotel needs to...

Liked: The spa was incredible, so many rooms and pools!!Lovely staff! Shout out to Olga in reception who was new but lovely and the girl and guy in the bar who provided exciting chat for us as there was no one else in it! Very clean. Bed was ultra comfy,spa bath with tv.
Disliked: Apart from day spa and members there was very few people around and so there was absolutely no vibe in the spa or the bar. (Okay so it was just a boring Tuesday in April! ). My daughter and I resorted to chatting to bar staff. It’s lovely to have a spa almost to yourself but there is a fine line between exclusive, and awkwardness /nothingness.If I was the hotel owner I would reduce room rates, food and drink prices ( we went out to eat but a small wine and Diet Coke was £17) ,make treatment prices more realistic because last night must’ve been 90% empty. I can’t imagine any sort of profit is being made! Seem to concentrate on day members I guess. As mentioned some decor and items were a little dated. Weird noise in our room all night long - a/c? - someone else has mentioned this!

Exceptional

Exceptional, but not 100% disabled...

Liked: The service was brilliant. Special shout out for Amy on the reception team. The quality of service was exceptional, the food was amazing, the facilities were great.
Disliked: Whilst not an issue for most visitors the disabled access around the site isn't great, didn't help that a lift was out, but that's the only gripe.

Nice but awful value for...

Liked: The setting is gorgeous and the spa is lovely
Disliked: The standard of service is really inconsistent - we were seated at a table covered in someone else's breakfast crumbs and had to ask for it to be cleaned and then presented with a £260 bill for breakfast and dinner that wasn't itemised on check out in addition to £400+ for the room. You also can't use the spa past 2pm which seems petty given the pricing. The young gentleman on reception in the evening was charming but everyone else was very mechanical and it is pretty poor value for the price unfortunately.
