Liked: The room was charming.
Disliked: In my first room, the shower clogged, there burnt out lights in the bathroom, and the TV didn't work. When my room was changed, all was much better, except the sink in the bathroom clogged.

Very disappointing

Liked: The check in staff was great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The check in staff accommodated early check in I asked for. However, check in procedures took too long, taking up precious time, and I was a few minutes late for the wedding I was going to. When I checked out the next morning, I wanted to have coffee and a muffin they offered downstairs. However, there were no utensils. I came up to the front desk and asked for a utensil. The front desk employee was helping another customer by giving her a lot of information regarding surrounding attractions. There was no one else to help, so I had to wait for a while before she was able to leave the front desk, go in the back room, and get the utensils. When I left, I realized that I forgot my evening gown in the closet. I called the hotel the next day to ask about it, but they told me they didn't find it. They said they would call me back if they found it and they never did. Unfortunately, somebody who works at the hotel stole my dress and no one bothered to investigate and find it. I am very disappointed by this experience!

Liked: Charming historic hotel with great service - my flight was severely delayed and I was at risk of a "no show" fee. The front desk was so helpful in ensuring that my arrival was smooth, even when I showed up exhausted. I appreciated the free coffee and muffins in the morning as I was pressed for time (given the late arrival of my plane). I hope on my next visit I will have more time to explore the neighborhood. My room was quite clean, in particular the bathroom. I liked the historic furnishings, which made me feel cozy.
