Liked: I am always happy with the choices at breakfast. The staff are always cheerful and helpful

Fitted the bill

Liked: The breakfast was fine but not stunning. However any breakfast requests were easily agreed to. The room was fine though with a partition wall so all noise from the next was audible, likewise from the lounge downstairs.
Disliked: No allergen info on the breakfast menu and staff didn't ask. No food items for those requiring lactose or gluten free food and very little sugar free food.

Welcoming, convenient, comfortable and good...

Liked: The generous size of the superior room and the fact that it was ground floor and opened out onto a small patio. The car could be parked right opposite too. Not usually an issue for us but next time we will bring our classic car due to excellent and secure parking. The food was excellent and good value and the ambiance was quiet and peaceful.
Disliked: Well I suppose one could say it wasn’t ‘scenic’ as such.
