A frustrating and disappointing stay...
Liked: The only good thing about the hotel is the location and the view apart from that everything else is so bad
Disliked: Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Worth 5 StarsI rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at the Pendry Washington DC was deeply disappointing and far from what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel.-Room service was extremely poor — slow, inattentive, and inconsistent.-Most of the staff lacked professionalism, with the exception of the manager who tried to help and was the only bright spot in our experience.-The breakfast was terrible: minimal variety and poor quality. Definitely not what you’d expect from a hotel in this category.-Most concerning was the financial mismanagement. The hotel charged a significantly higher amount than the actual cost of the stay. Multiple unauthorized transactions were made on my card without explanation.-When I approached the receptionist, she was shockingly rude, speaking to me in a condescending and disrespectful tone. Only after insisting to speak to the manager was I informed that there was a system glitch causing erroneous transactions — a very serious and unacceptable issue for any hotel, let alone a supposed 5-star establishment.This experience left me frustrated and disappointed.
